You are welcome to join us on the 14th of April from 10am to 6pm in the Courtyard Vilnius City Hotel. The languages of the Conference are Russian and Lithuanian.

Conference Program

10.00 to 18.00 with coffee breaks, lunch and question time.

  • 9.30–10.00 — Participant registration, coffee time, networking.
  • 10.00–10.15 — Introductions, word of welcome from the panel, admin questions if any.
  • 10.15–12.00 — SNIC (System Neuro Immuno Cutaneous): neuroimmune system of the skin and its connection with the endocrine system. The interaction of organs and tissues of the immune, nervous and endocrine systems with skin structures. Age-related changes in the skin as manifestations of changes in the complex interaction between various organs and systems.
  • 12.15–13.00 — Skin ageing as part of the body ageing. Basic theories of ageing. The concept of biological age and the biochemical markers of age. The epigenetics of ageing and Horvath's biological clock. External changes in the skin and their correlation with biological age and biochemical changes in the body.
  • 13.00–14.00 — Lunch.
  • 14.00–15.30 — The hormonal mechanics of skin ageing. Menopause and andropause. The todays view of menopause and the possibilities of reducing its symptoms, including changes of the appearance. Circadian regulation and skin ageing. Age-related changes in circadian regulation, their prevention and correction. How to account for the circadian functions of the skin when recommending cosmetic care and aesthetic procedures. Skin microbiome: the up-to-day understanding of a healthy microbiome. Age-related changes in the microbiome and therapeutic possibilities of microbiome-oriented therapy. The impact of external agents on the skin microbiome: how to take this into account when choosing care.
  • 15.30–16.00 — Coffee Break.
  • 16.00–17.30 — Reviewing the types of skin ageing. Today's methods aimed at correcting the signs of ageing: from the lifestyle changes to high-tech aesthetic effects. The pyramid of skin needs and the hierarchy of needs based on the physiology of the human body and the characteristics of ageing. The latest cosmetic ingredients slowing down skin ageing. Conclusion: 10 scientifically proven techniques in the practice of cosmetologists for the prevention and slowing down of skin ageing.
  • 17.30–18.00 — Q&A time.
  • 18.00 onwards — Closing speeches, buffet and networking.

Key Speaker Dr Tiina Meder

Dr Tiina Meder (Estonia, USA) is an aesthetic doctor, cosmetic developer and internationally renowned cosmetic safety expert. Dr Meder is an active member of The Association of Laser Medicine and Cosmetology (Ukraine).

Founder and CEO of her own skincare range, Dr Meder remains a avid researcher of latest skin health innovation, a published author of 2 books translated into 5 languages and multiple articles on dermatology, cosmetology, aesthetic medicine and the safety of aesthetic practices.

A mother of 2, Dr Tiina Meder shares her time between her native Estonia and her flourishing business in Florida, USA.
